Tiffin
Netball Club runs a Junior Section for 11 to 16 year olds.
Our aim is to develop and improve junior members netball skills
and for those players to progress towards the Senior Club. |
| We
hold 1.5 hour training sessions twice a month on Sunday mornings
10:30-12:00 during the netball season, for Junior’s this
commences in late October through to the end of March. All standards
are catered for within the 11 to 16 age group and the training
sessions are structured, encompassing fitness, ball and footwork
skills plus match play. In general there are two or three coaches
whom offer individual and team development. |
| There
are also four additional tournaments (held in November, January,
February, March from 9:30-13:00) within the Epsom Little League.
We usually enter four selected teams across the age groups.
This is to offer a small section of Tiffin Junior Netball Club
some competition play, which is additional to the training session
match play. |
All
junior members should come suitably dressed in sports wear for
training sessions.
There is an optional Club Fleece available to all members at
a cost of £25.
For Tournaments, the Club provides dark royal blue p.e. skirts
and players are required to wear white shirt, socks and dark
p.e. knickers/shorts and trainers. |
Tiffin
Junior Netball Club membership is currently £50 (cheques
should be made payable to Tiffin Junior Netball Club), this
covers All England and Surrey County Netball Association Affiliations,
insurance and the coached training sessions.
For those players selected for our Tournament teams, match fees
of £3 are payable on the day. |
